Acting Class Descriptions

Level 1 Film & TV Acting| 60 min:

 

Students ages 11+ will work towards professional quality audition material, higher level acting technique and scene-work/study. For intermediate level students, this class for young actors focuses on learning terminology, the audition process, how to get an agent, what agents are looking for, self-taping skills, and much more! Actors will delve into monologues, cold reads, and scenes. You’ve got to put in the training in order to get the role, and this class leads you through the entire process.

 

Instructor: Elizabeth D'Onofrio

Requirements: Students must be evaluated to be placed in appropriate class by submitting video of a monologue or acting reel. Students previously enrolled in these classes do not need to audition but will still be placed according to Miss Elizabeth's recommendation

Level 2 Film & TV Acting| 90 min:

 

Students ages 14+ will work towards professional quality audition material, higher level acting technique and scene-work/study. For intermediate-advance level students, this class for teen to adult actors focuses on professionalism, audition technique, character work & development, self taping, and repertoire building. Our instructor, Elizabeth D'Onofrio, will provide students with industry insights and first hand knowledge of the film industry.

Level 1 Stage Acting| 60 min:

 

Students age 8-13 will learn the basics of acting through improvisation, scene-work, audition prep and more for stage actors. Want to find your spotlight on stage and explore fun, exciting characters? This is the class for you!
