Studio Rules and Safety Procedures

  • Each week students should bring materials necessary for any private lesson or group class.

  • No student should be in the studio unless enrolled in that particular class.

  • Students should be dressed and prepared for class before it starts.

  • No food or drinks (besides water) are allowed in the studios.

  • Please leave valuables and jewelry at home, as the studio is not responsible for missing items. Don't forget to double check and make sure you have everything before leaving the studio.

  • Chewing gum is never allowed in the studios.

  • Always treat your teacher, yourself, and fellow classmates with respect.

  • Students are expected to attend each scheduled class/lesson.

  • Please be prompt. Private lesson times will NOT be extended for students who arrive late.

  • It is recommended that students 8 and under are walked into and out of CCS by an adult. Students 8 and under will not be allowed to exit CCS until their teacher sees their parent/guardian in the building. Safety is our number one priority.

  • Parents should not leave young students unattended in the waiting area before or after class.

  • Students should be picked up promptly at the end of their lesson time.

  • Observation of group and private classes are at the sole discretion of the Instructor. It is our experience that little artists adjust better to class if the parent/guardian waits in the lobby.  We have provided cameras for convenience to see your child during class.

  • CCS reserves the right to cancel any new class that does not meet the minimum number of students required at any time.

Practice

  • Daily practice is essential for student success. Whether you are taking private or group classes, we recommend you practice at home so your next class/lesson can build on that previous knowledge. Parental involvement in home practice is essential for student success.  Please help your student to establish and stick to a practice routine, and see that practice time is free of distractions.
