Curtain Call Studios Presents..“Let’s Go to the Movies! ”

 

This year’s recital will have the theme “Let’s Go to the Movies” to highlight the works of your favorite movies! Students participating will present pieces that are from movies or movie soundtracks! Instructors will help students choose their pieces in classes and lessons.

 

Here are the details…

 

Date:  Saturday, May 18th, 2024

 

Times:  There will be 2 separate shows:

 

Music & Dance Recital: START TIME 10:30am with 30 minute intermission at 12:00pm

Afternoon Actor’s Showcase: START TIME 3:00pm with no intermission

 

Rehearsal: We will have a MANDATORY recital rehearsal at the studio on Saturday, May 11th. You will receive a schedule with your rehearsal time after all forms are submitted Feb. 29th. 

 

Location:  Canterbury School

Attire:

             SOLO Performers should wear semi-formal or professional attire. NO jeans, flip flops, or casual wear. 

 

            GROUP CLASS performers enrolled in a group dance class or musical theatre class will be assigned a costume for their class's performance.      Dancers will receive a form to view their classes costume(s) and costume rate. Actors will be given instructions for recital dress for their individual class by their instructor. 

 

TICKETS:  $15 

• Children under 5 do not need to purchase a ticket & will be considered a lap seat

 

• If your student is performing in more than recital, your original ticket is transferable.

 

• All attendees must present their tickets at the door to view the recital! (Students do not need tickets to attend any of the performances)
